Meet Author Suzanne Kelman.

Suzanne is an Amazon international best-selling author and a multi-award-winning screenwriter and playwright.

Suzanne is such a joy. Just look at her glowing smile. I am honored to introduce you to this dynamic and entertaining writer. She refers to her book as “Your laughing #workout for today.” Her book cover caught my eye because I am a tea-drinker. I added this book to  Gracie’s “To Read” Book List several months ago. Read the book to discover what is behind the smile!

The author’s synopsis of her book:

Librarian Janet Johnson is puzzled when she is invited—and practically dragged—to her first meeting of the Rejected Writers’ Book Club. This quirky group of women would much rather celebrate one another’s rejected manuscripts over cups of tea and slices of lemon cake than actually publish a book. But good friends are exactly what Janet needs after moving to the small town of Southlea Bay, Washington. Just as the ladies are about to raise a teacup to their five hundredth rejection letter, they receive bad news that could destroy one member’s reputation—and disband the group forever. To save the club, Janet joins her fellow writers on a wild road trip to San Francisco in search of the local publisher who holds the key to a long-buried secret. As they race to the finish line, they’ll face their fears—landslides, haunted houses, handsome strangers, ungrateful children—and have the time of their lives.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining from start to finish

“The Rejected Writers’ Book Club is entertaining from start to finish. The characters are quirky and lovable, and they share a dynamic that keeps you wondering what will happen next.
Suzanne’s writing is descriptive and clear and moves the story along without any unnecessary fluff. The story in itself is a unique idea – a group of women authors bonded by the rejection letters they receive, and the quest to change a publisher’s acceptance to another rejection to keep the group together. I can only hope I find a group of friends like them, willing to chain themselves to toilets to help me accomplish my goals.
I already have the second book in this series and can’t wait to read it.”

Here is what I have to say about Suzanne’s Book.

 5 of 5 Stars – Absolutely hilarious!

I was more than thrilled to see it on sale and quickly downloaded to my Kindle.  When I wake up tomorrow with puffy eyes and sleepy, I am going to blame Suzanne. The book is so crazy funny I couldn’t put it down; stayed up most of the night reading.

WELCOME TO MY NEW BLOG by GRACIE BRADFORD

While drinking my hot tea laced with a little something that I won’t discuss around young people, my college age grandson decided to give me a lesson in social media. The conversation went like this:

Grandson: “G-Mom, you need to set up a blog so that people get to know you as an author.”

Grandma: “That’s cool. Everybody knows me. By the way, what is a blog?”

Grandson: “You were a senior executive, and don’t know how to blog? That’s crazy… if you know how to write books, you know how to blog.”

Grandma: “Although I hired experts to take care of my media department, if you give me instructions I can do just about anything. But, since you just finished a course on Information Technology, you should set up a blog for your technology challenged grandmother.”

Grandson: “G-Mom, I would not want to deny you the privilege of learning a new skill. You taught me to dig deep and never let anything get in the way of progress. You taught me that I could do anything that anybody else can do. You taught me to explore new challenges. You taught me to (G-Mom gives him THE LOOK) shut up when I am about to put my foot in my mouth. But, I must say one last thing – I love you G-Mom!

MY BLOG PAGE IS UNDER DEVELOPMENT – NO THANKS TO MY GRANDSON. COME BACK OFTEN FOR A VISIT TO READ MY SASSY AND OUTSPOKEN BOOK REVIEWS, QUOTES, AND ARTICLES THAT NO ONE ELSE DARE TO SHARE. KIDS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SLEEP AT MIDNIGHT.
